Box Score FAIRFIELD, Conn. – An impressive showing to end the regular season saw Fairfield University women's tennis take down Rider, 7-0 Saturday.

"Now we prepare for the MAAC tournament next weekend with our sights on the goal we've had since day one. We are ready and looking forward to the challenge!"
The day began with a pair of 6-2 victories in the doubles' round, first from Sandra Bozinovic and Laina Campos in the No. 3 duel, followed by Amanda Nowak and Katarina Plumtree in the No. 2 match to claim the point for the Stags.
In singles, Sandra Bozinovic collected her 20th solo victory of the year with a straight set victory, 6-1, 6-4. Plumtree followed with a three-set victory in the No. 2 duel, 4-6, 6-1, 1-0 (12-10) in a match that went down to the wire, and Amanda Nowak captured the No. 3 contest, 6-1, 6-3. At No. 4 singles Sophia Prinos defeating her opponent, 6-3, 6-2 and Aina March nabbed the No. 5 match in dominating fashion, 6-1, 6-1. The Stags would also capture the No. 6 duel by default.
