Biography
2023-24: All-MAAC First Team at #3 Doubles…Won nine doubles matches, including a 4-0 record in conference play alongside Nicolette Loeffler…Also earned victories against tandems from Providence and UNCG during the non-league slate.
2022-23: Collected 10 wins in doubles action… went 3-2 in conference doubles matches.
2020-21: 0-2 in singles play and 2-7 in doubles contests… earned doubles victories over Colgate and Providence alongside teammate Sophia Prinos.
2019-20: 2-4 in singles play and 5-3 in doubles contests including a single MAAC win with teammate Amanda Nowak… earned both solo wins at Quinnipiac Invitational... earned doubles victories over Rider, Colgate, Providence, Bryant, and Northern Kentucky.
About Laina: Campos comes to Fairfield from Scarsdale, N.Y., as the #1 Singles player at the Ursuline School in New Rochelle. Campos reached the New York Doubles State Finals in each of the last four seasons, including winning a pair of State Championships. She is the younger sister of Gabriella Campos ’19, who was a senior co-captain of the Stags last season.
