FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Fairfield University Women's Tennis won two doubles matches to take the point in Sunday's match against crosstown foe Sacred Heart. However, the Stags' 1-0 lead in the contest will have to wait, as rain washed out the match before singles play could begin.
 
The match will be resumed at a date to be determined.
 
The Stags took the early advantage via a pair of 6-1 wins in doubles. The tandem of Sandra Bozinovic and Katarina Plumtree was victorious at #2 doubles, and the duo of Laina Campos and Amanda Nowak earned the win in the #3 spot.
 
Fairfield will be back in action this weekend to wrap-up the fall portion of the 2021-22 slate at the Army West Point Invite.
