NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Finn McGinnis set the pace for Fairfield University Men's Golf win a 75 on each of his two trips through The Couse at Yale on Saturday at the Yale Spring Invitational. His 150 staked him to a 31st-place finish in a field of 89 golfers.

The Stags placed 15th on the team leaderboard, topping Holy Cross by one stroke. Tennessee won the team crown, pulling away for an 11-shot cushion over the second-place hosts from Yale. #18 nationally-ranked golfer Lorenzo Scalise from Tennessee shared medalist honors with Yale's James Nicholas and Eoin Leonard as each posted a 138 (-2).

Weather permitting, the Stags are set to play at the Sacred Heart Spring Invitational at Great River Golf Club in Milford on Sunday and Monday as their final preparation for the 2018 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Championship. The opening round from Disney's Magnolia Golf Course tees off on Friday, April 20.
