EDISON, N.J. – Fairfield University Men's Tennis accounted for six spots on the 2026 All-MAAC Teams, which were announced on Thursday morning by the conference office. The Stags nabbed four All-MAAC honors in Singles and a pair in Doubles.
Kostas Kollias was named All-MAAC First Team in Singles. The senior was 19-14 on the singles courts this season with a 6-1 record in seven MAAC matches, all at the #3 spot. The honor marks the fourth All-MAAC Singles distinction for Kollias and his third consecutive First Team selection.
Diego Alcala earned All-MAAC First Team laurels in Singles as a freshman. He headed the #2 position in the Fairfield lineup for all of MAAC play, finishing 6-2 against league opponents.
Fairfield's top flight in Singles was held down by
Kacper Krolikowski, who finished 3-3 at the top position in MAAC play on his was to an All-MAAC Second Team selection.
Rounding out the Singles honorees for the Stags is
Calum Jessett as a Third Team pick. Jessett was 4-0 in MAAC play at #4 Singles before an injury forced him out of the lineup for the back half of the eight-match conference slate. Last season, Jessett earned All-MAAC Second Team honors in Singles.
On the doubles courts, Kollias and Krolikowski were tabbed to the All-MAAC First Team. The duo headed Fairfield's doubles lineup and went 4-2 in MAAC play. Krolikowski earns his first All-MAAC nod as a Doubles player, while Kollias picks up his third to cap his standout career as a seven-time All-MAAC selection between Singles and Doubles.
Rounding out the honorees, Jessett and
Alex Aguiar were named to the All-MAAC Second Team in Doubles. The tandem was unbeaten at 4-0 in four MAAC matches at #2. Aguiar collects his third career All-MAAC Doubles nod with three different partners. He also teamed with Alcala to win the MAAC Masters Doubles Championship this fall.
In addition, six Fairfield student-athletes were named to the MAAC All-Academic Team: Aguiar, Jessett, Kollias, Krolikowski,
Pol Otin, and
Zach Whittington.
To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.
