FAIRFIELD, Conn. — Fairfield University Men's Tennis (5-12, 4-1 MAAC) was on the short side of a 4-3 decision to first-place Marist (12-5, 7-0 MAAC) on Friday at the Walsh Athletic Center Outdoor Courts. The Stags and Red Foxes splits the six singles matches, with the doubles point deciding the conference clash.
Kostas Kollias and
Kacper Krolikowski secured a 6-2 victory in the top doubles flight, but Marist earned the win at No. 2 and No. 3 to claim the doubles points.
In singles action, Fairfield got wins from
Diego Alcala at No. 2, Kollias at No. 3, and
Alex Aguiar at No. 6. Kollias and Aguiar both moved to 5-0 in MAAC singles matches with their respective victories, and Alcala improved to 4-1.
Fairfield Men's Tennis continues the 2026 MAAC slate this Sunday, April 12 with a noon match at Mount St. Mary's.
