GLEN COVE, N.Y. – Fairfield University Men's Golf moved up to fifth place in the Tuesday's final round of the Shark Invitational at Nassau Country Club.
Rasmus Ditzinger placed third to pace the Stags through 54 holes on Long Island.
Fairfield carded a team score of 288 on Tuesday to move past Monmouth and into fifth place. The Stags defeated a total of 10 teams in the field, including MAAC foes Manhattan, Sacred Heart, and Siena.
Bryant and Northern Colorado shared the top of the team leaderboard, followed by Weber State and host LIU ahead of the Stags.
Individually, Ditzinger finished with an even-par 210 to record his sixth top-three performance in eight total tournaments in 2025-26.
Tadgh Burke fired a 68 on Tuesday, climbing 15 spots up the leaderboard to finish tied for 11th with a 214.
Gustaf Fehn was also among the individual top 20 at 217. Rounding out the six Stags on the course,
Peter Crowe carded a 221,
Joey Vandergeest posted a 225, and
Anthony Naples finished at 230.
Bryant's Matthew Young won the event with a 210, topping Tommaso Rossin of New Haven. Rossin was one shot ahead of Ditzinger with a 209 for the week.
Fairfield will play one more tournament ahead of the MAAC Championship when the Stags head to Kingston, N.Y. for the Roar-EE Invitational on Saturday, April 18.
