NORMAN, Okla. – Rasmus Ditzinger added another accolade to his landmark sophomore season with Fairfield University Men's Golf, collecting 2026 NCAA Division I All-Northeast Region honors from PING and the Golf Coaches Association of America. Ditzinger was the unanimous MAAC Player of the Year and the individual MAAC Champion.
 
Including the 2026 MAAC Championship, Rasmus Ditzinger won four tournaments this season with a total of eight top-three finishes in 11 events. He was previously named the Fairfield Athletics Men's co-Athlete of the Year in addition to an All-MAAC First Team selection.
 
At the NCAA Athens Regional, Ditzinger set two Fairfield and MAAC records. His final round 67 (-4) was the lowest round to par in conference history, and his aggregate 212 (-1) was the first-ever score under par at a 54-hole regional by a MAAC golfer. He finished the regional tied for 34th in a 74-golfer field.
 
Ditzinger was the only MAAC golfer tabbed for the PING All-Northeast Region Team, joining a ledger that included student-athletes from the Big 10, ACC, Big East, Atlantic 10, Ivy League, and Patriot League.
