EDISON, N.J. – Fairfield University Women's Basketball junior guard
Kaety L'Amoreaux was named the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Player of the Week for the fifth time this season. L'Amoreaux led the Stags through another 3-0 week with a team-high 19.7 points per game while shooting 50 percent from the field, 42 percent from 3-point range, and 96 percent from the free throw line.

Carly Thibault-DuDonis said. "She is an unbelievable competitor and has been an unstoppable force on both ends of the floor. I love the edge that she plays with and it permeates throughout our team every single day."
L'Amoreaux capped her week with a 26-point showing in the home win over Siena, the eighth time she has reached the 20-point mark this season. She shot 4-for-5 from long-range against the Saints while making all eight of her free throw attempts.
For the season, she leads the MAAC and ranks in the top-30 in the country with a 19.2 points per game average. She also leads the conference in field goal percentage (.505), free throw percentage (.902), and assists per game (4.3).
The five MAAC Player of the Week awards ties the most by any MAAC student-athlete since 2020.
L'Amoreaux and the Stags will embark on their Western New York swing starting with a Thursday night game against Niagara at 6pm.
