MESA, Ariz. – The Fairfield University Women's Basketball team has been chosen to compete in the 2025 USA Basketball 3X Nationals held in Mesa, Ariz., this weekend.

Raiana Brown,
Kaety L'Amoreaux, and
Emina Selimovic will be Fairfield's representatives in the 3X3 tournament featuring teams from around the nation. The event will take place May 2-4 at the Arizona Athletic Grounds in Mesa, Ariz.

The Stags will send three All-MAAC players and three MAAC All-Tournament selections into the tournament, competing against 15 other teams from around the country. Some of the schools competing in the event include: South Carolina, Oklahoma State, Richmond, Vanderbilt, TCU, James Madison, and Florida.
Andersen, the reigning MAAC Tournament MVP, was an All-MAAC and All-Metropolitan First Team selection after leading the conference in scoring which included 22 double-digit scoring efforts. Her 68 made 3-pointers were the seventh-most in a season in Fairfield history while also swishing through the 100th of her two-year career this season.
L'Amoreaux earned All-MAAC and All-Metropolitan Second Team honors after enjoying a breakout campaign, setting career-highs in: points (397), assists (136), and rebounds (150). She finishing in the top-five in the conference in assists (4.3) and steals (2.4) per game.
Selimovic was named to the All-MAAC Third Team for the second-straight season after finishing second on the team with 4.2 rebounds and tallying a .498 field goal percentage. She reached double-figures in points in 12 MAAC games.
In her first and only season with the Stags, Brown was named the MAAC Sixth Player of the Year and also sealed a spot on the MAAC All-Tournament team after shooting 59 percent and averaging 8.6 points in the championships. In the regular season, Brown averaged 9.2 points in just 14.6 minutes in MAAC games. She tallied double-digits in scoring in seven MAAC games, highlighted by her season-high 31-point outburst at Sacred Heart in early February.
The tournament will run from May 2-4 with all games streamed live on the USA Basketball's YouTube Channel. The first two days will consist of pool play games with the final day featuring a championship bracket. Each contest will have a 10-minute game clock and a 12-second shot clock with the first team reaching 21 points being declared the winner.
The quartet of Stags helped Fairfield successfully defend their MAAC title with their second-straight conference championship and NCAA Tournament appearance. The Stags were also consistently ranked in the top-10 nationally among mid-majors and received votes in the Associated Press (AP) Top-25 national poll for the second-straight season.
