2023-24: MAAC Rookie of the Year…All-Met Rookie of the Year…All-MAAC First Team…ECAC First Team…All-Met Second Team…USBWA National Player of the Year Watch List…Becky Hammon National Mid-Major Player of the Year Semifinalist…USBWA Tamika Catchings National Freshman of the Week (1/9)…2X MAAC Player of the Week (12/26; 1/8)…11X MAAC Rookie of the Week (11/13; 11/27; 12/11; 12/18; 12/26; 1/2; 1/8; 1/15; 1/29; 2/26; 3/4)…Fairfield University Women’s Rookie of the Year…Enjoyed the best rookie season in program history, breaking the school’s rookie scoring record with 497 points which was also the most in the conference…Also led the MAAC in field goals (195), 3-point percentage (.359), and blocks (46)…Finished second in the conference with a .512 field goal percentage while ranking third in 3-pointers (66), which was also tied for the eighth most in a single season in program history…Was the only freshman ever to be selected a Becky Hammon National Mid-Major Player of the Year Semifinalist…Program’s first-ever freshman to be named an All-Met Rookie of the Year…Named the MAAC Rookie of the Week 11 times which tied for the second-most in MAAC history…Broke the program’s single-game rookie scoring mark with 30 points at Niagara (1/4)…Had 26 double-digit scoring games including six 20-point outings and led the team in scoring 14 times…Connected on a 3-pointer in 29 contests including each of her first 20 games (11/6 – 2/3)…Grabbed a career-high 12 rebounds and her first career double-double with 22 points in her only game off the bench at Central Connecticut State (11/26)…Went 10-for-14 from the field and 4-for-5 from long-range in a home win against Niagara to clinch the MAAC Regular Season Championship (2/24)…Was the first NCAA freshman in over a decade to have 23 points, five 3-pointers, six blocks, and nine rebounds against a Division I foe accomplishing the feat at Lipscomb (11/10)…Also shot 70 percent from the field in the home victory over Canisius (1/27).

BEFORE FAIRFIELD: Andersen averaged 19 points, 11.2 rebounds, 3.4 blocks, and 3.0 steals in helping Our Lady of Mercy Academy to the CHSAA Championship last season. The post-player also showed her versatility by shooting 43 percent from 3-point range. The Catholic League Player of the Year was also selected to the First Team All-Long Island squad by Newsday and earned three All-Conference selections. She was also a Third Team All-State selection following her junior season.

PERSONAL: Parents are Denise and Kevin…Mother Denise played basketball at Fordham, helping the Rams to two Patriot League Championships and was inducted into the Fordham Athletics Hall of Fame…Has two siblings Thomas and Kaitlyn…Brother Tom played baseball at Susquehanna…Major is Sports Business.
