WEST WINDSOR, N.J. – Returning to the MAAC Championship Match for the third time in the last four seasons, Fairfield University women's tennis went toe-to-toe with Quinnipiac Sunday afternoon, but fell to the Bobcats, 4-1.

Despite a hard-fight in the topflight that saw the Stags nearly draw level, Quinnipiac would take a pair of wins in dual action to capture the doubles point. In singles play Sarah Liu would lead her side with a straight set victory in the No. 3 slot, 6-2, 7-5, while Aina March and Paulina Bakaite would both force a third set in their respective matches. The Bobcats would capture a trio of solo wins to win the MAAC Championship.

Fairfield women's tennis ends the 2022-23 campaign with 10 dual victories on the year including five victories in the MAAC regular season.
