Box Score NEW HAVEN, Conn. – A total of four singles players and three doubles teams remain in the bracket for Fairfield University Men's Tennis after the first day of the ITA Northeast Regional Championship at the Cullman-Heyman Tennis Center.
 
On the singles courts, Sam Hodges earned a victory to advance to the Round of 64. He will be joined by Thomas Smart, Nick Condos and Kostas Kollias, all of whom received byes into the second round.
 
Both of Fairfield's doubles teams in action on Friday were victorious. Alex Aguiar and Keean Shah upended Hofstra's Josh Reynolds and Kaita Odani in the Round of 64, while Hodges and Kollias teamed up to defeat Mateo Mallen and Alexis Chastang of Stonehill. Smart and Condos also held a bye in doubles and will play in the Round of 32 later this weekend.
