Box Score SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Sandra Bozinovic earned her seventh topflight win of the season Wednesday, as Fairfield University women's tennis dropped a 6-1 decision at Wofford Tuesday afternoon.
"I thought we played well today," said Head Coach Jeff Bricker. "Wofford is very good and we battled hard. Sandra played great at 1 to grab a big win for her."
The win for Bozinovic was a straight set victory, that saw the Stags' top singles performer earn her 14th win of the season, 7-6, 6-3. Wofford, after taking the doubles point captured the remaining five singles duels to take the victory.
Fairfield women's tennis will look to bounce back in the final game of their spring break trip to South Carolina, taking on SC State. First serve between the Stags and the Bulldogs is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. from Orangeburg, S.C.
