BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Fairfield University Women's Tennis played "hidden duals" with three Patriot League opponent this weekend at the Lehigh Invitational.
Sandra Bozinovic was unbeaten in three matches as all seven Stags to compete earned at least one win as Fairfield matched up with Colgate, Army West Point and host Lehigh.
Bozinovic went 2-0 in singles and teamed with
Katarina Plumtree for a doubles win. Plumtree also picked up a singles victory, as did
Francesca Karman,
Sophia Prinos,
Amanda Nowak and
Lucie Tuttle.
On the doubles courts, the duo of Prinos and Tuttle and the pair of Karman and
Aina March picked up victories, both over tandems from Colgate.
"We were a bit banged up coming to Lehigh, and we had a couple other minor injuries pop up during the weekend, but we competed at a high level and picked up some very good wins," said Head Coach
Jeff Bricker. "Congratulations to
Lucie Tuttle on her first singles and doubles wins as a Stag!"

While there was no official team scoring this weekend, the Stags went 3-2 in singles and 3-0 in doubles against Colgate, 1-6 in singles and 0-2 in doubles against Army West Point and 3-4 in singles and 0-2 in doubles against Lehigh.

The Stags return to action next week for the ITA Northeast Regional Championship at West Point.
