LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. – Fairfield University Men's Golf turned a one-stroke deficit into a three-stroke lead following the second round of the 2021 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Championship on Saturday at Disney's Magnolia Golf Course. The Stags were paced by
James Tyer's even-par 72 in the second round.

Fairfield will head into Sunday at +2 on the team ledger, followed by Iona at +5 and Niagara at +6.

Jason Salameno shot a 74 (+2) on Saturday, aggregating a 142 (-2) for the weekend to sit two shots behind Rider's Austin Devereux (-4).
Shane DeVincenzo is also among the individual top-10, carding a 73 (+1) on Saturday after an even-par opening round.

Patrick McCarthy is currently at +2, Tyer's par today keeps him at +4 and
Killian McGinley sits at +5 as all five Stags are on the top half of the individual leaderboard.
