WEST ORANGE, N.J. – Fairfield University Men's Golf closed out the 2021 fall slate on Monday with 27 holes at the Metropolitan Intercollegiate Championship. The Stags finished tied for seventh of 10 teams as
Shane DeVincenzo set the pace for Fairfield after one-and-a-half trips through Montclair Golf Club.

DeVincenzo finished tied for 11th, just one stroke out of seventh place with a 111 (+6).
Jason Salameno was also among the top half of the 63-golfer field, finishing tied for 31st place with a 116 (+11).

On the team ledger, the Stags shared seventh place with host Wagner. Fairfield turned in a 462 to land six strokes short of sixth-place Manhattan. Columbia won the team title by 10 shots over Robert Morris; the Lions were paced by Pat Healy and Wyatt McGovern, two of the three players to share the top of the individual leaderboard with a 107 (+2). Officially, Healy claimed medalist honors on a tiebreaker.
