EDISON, N.J. – Six representatives of Fairfield University Women's Cross Country have been named to the MAAC All-Academic Team. To be eligible for the honor, a student-athlete must have earned a cumulative grade-point average of 3.20 or better while completing at least two full semesters at their current institution.
 
The Stags were represented on the team by Miranda Curto (Finance), Jane Frawley (Nursing), Courtney Kitchen (Mathematics), Rachel Martin (Biology), Mia Melao (Nursing) and Anna Weissenberg (Biology). Frawley, Martin and Melao all earned MAAC All-Academic recognition for the second consecutive season.
 
In the 2019 season, Fairfield turned in its best MAAC Championship performance since 2013 with an eight-place team finish.
