NEW BRITAIN, Conn. – Fairfield University Women's Cross Country had four harriers on the course on Friday at the CCSU Mini-Meet at Stanley Quarter Park in New Britain. The Stags were led by
Bridget Reidy, who completed the 3K course in 10:49.94.
Reidy's time was good for 29th place. She was closely followed by
Michaela Kenny in 36th place with a time of 11:16.25.
Callie DeDecko crossed the line in 11:28.70, and
Anna Heras clocked in at 11:32.61.
Shaylen Goslar of Stony Brook set the overall pace with a winning time of 9:44.29. Host Central Connecticut won the team title, led by the second- and third-place finishers. With only four competitors in action, Fairfield did not factor into the team scoring.
Up next, the Stags head to Montgomery, N.Y. for the 2025 MAAC Championship on Saturday, Nov. 1. The conference-wide meet will be held at Twin Ponds on the Farm for the third consecutive season.
