"Tonight was a steady team win," said Head Coach Todd Kress. "Megan O'Sullivan continues to give us much needed transition points. Marist did a nice job of keeping us off balance from the endline and in transition, but i'm proud of our team for making adjustments in the fourth set."

Amanda Schlegel also posted a double-double from the setter spot with 37 assists and 15 digs. Marist libero Lexi Millington matched Rudeen in the back row with 25 digs.
Tonight's match concludes an unbeaten four-match homestand for the Stags. Fairfield visits MAAC foes Saint Peter's and Rider this weekend to complete the road portion of the regular season schedule and begins a three-match residency at Alumni Hall to cap the regular season next Wednesday, Nov. 11 for a visit from defending conference champion Siena.
"With three matches in five days coming up, we will to regroup tomorrow and prepare for another important match at Saint Peter's, which has been a much improved team during the second half of conference play," commented Kress.
