Weaver and Stapleton returned to the lead to the Stags with kills while Moyer ended the frame, 27-25, with a kill of her own.

Fairfield pulled ahead 17-12 in the second set but Manhattan stormed back to tie the score 17-17. From that point on, the two teams traded points. With the score tied at 28-28, a cross-court kill by Dixion put the Stags ahead. Dixion then bounced a shot just inside the backline to give Fairfield the 30-28 win.

The third set was another back-and-forth battle with 13 ties and nine lead changes. Manhattan opened up a 22-19 lead, but the Stags came back and tied the score at 22-22 on a kill by Dixion. Moyer followed with a kill to put the Stags on top once again.
