FAIRFIELD, Conn. – The Fairfield University women's tennis team will host the Providence College Friars in a non-conference match-up Sunday April 10. The first serve is set for 11am on the Walsh Athletic Center Tennis Courts.

The Stags are coming off a thrilling 4-3 match over conference foe Marist on Thursday. They are now 8-7 overall and are an undefeated 4-0 in conference play. The Friars are 4-12 and 0-6 in the Big East. Last season, Fairfield topped Providence in a 6-1 match that sparked an eight match win streak for the Stags heading into the NCAA Tournament.

Freshman Monica Yajima enters Sunday's match on a four match win streak at first singles. She is also an impressive 20-4 overall and 9-1 in the No. 1 spot.
