FAIRFIELD, Conn. - The Fairfield University women's tennis team travels to West Hartford tomorrow, April 14, to take on the Hartford Hawks in their last non-conference match of the 2011 season. Hartford is 5-10 overall, and has yet to play an America East match, while the Stags enter the match-up at 10-7, and an undefeated 5-0 in MAAC action. They are also on a four match win streak after blanking Rider 7-0, on Monday April 11.

Monica Yajima is now on a six-match win streak at first singles. She boasts an impressive 11-1 at the No. 1 spot in addition to a 22-4 overall record.
Sharissa Ryan has also been consistent in singles play, and enters the match winning four in a row, along with nine of her last ten matches.
Alyssa Ruiz and
Caroline Emhardt have won their last three matches at the No. 5 and No. 4 spots, respectively.
The non-conference match-up also marks the last match before the Stags take on conference foe Siena on April 17, which is the last match of the regular season. Sunday's match-up against the Saints could clinch the Stags' second consecutive regular season championship.
