FAIRFIELD, Conn. – The Fairfield University women's tennis team travels to Albany, N.Y. Saturday to take on the Great Danes in a 1pm match. The Stags enter the match 3-4 overall, and are coming off an impressive 7-0 in-conference win over Saint Peter's Peahens.

Freshman Victoria Pirrello (Staten Island, N.Y.) is now on a four-match win streak, while Sharissa Ryan (Bedford Hills, N.Y.) looks to build upon her current three-match winning trend.

The University at Albany women's team is currently 10-3 overall with losses coming from UMass, Brown, and Army. Most recently, they are coming off a 7-0 victory over Hofstra. The last time the two teams met was during the 2008-09 season when the Stags fell 5-1.
