Women's Golf Finishes Seventh At Dartmouth Invitat

Final Results 

HANOVER, N.H. - Fairfield women's golf team played consistently this weekend at Hanover Country Club. The Stags tied for seventh overall out of 22 teams. They shot a team total of 660 to tie with Hofstra University. The 660 total was just two strokes behind sixth place Williams College (658). 

Kristen Macdonald (Billerica, Mass.) continued her solid play to pace the Stags. MacDonald tied for sixth overall shooting a 77 and 75 on the second and third round today for a total of 152 (+8). 

Annie Sperandio (Lexington, Mass.) improved her second round score of 84 by three, ending the day with an 81 for a 165 total. Three strokes behind Sperandio was Elly Lemons (Upton, Mass.) who shot an 84 on both rounds today, ending the tournament with a 168 total. 

Christina DeStefano (Poughkeepsie, N.Y.) shot a 175 total with an 87 on the second round and an 88 on the third. Rounding out the scoring for the Stags was Caroline Hoey (Garden City, N.Y) who shot a second round of 99 and a third round of 97 for a 196 total. 

The women's golf team continues their fall season October 3-4 at the ECAC Division I Championship at Twisted Dunes Golf Course in Egg Harbor City, N.J.
