EDISON, N.J. – Addie Chang swept the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) awards this week after leading Fairfield University Women's Golf at the SHU Spring Break Invite. Chang earned Rookie of the Week for the second time and collected her first career Golfer of the Week distinction.
Chang tied for second place at the Spring Break Invite, carding a 150 (74, 76) over 36 holes at Eagle Harbor Golf Cub in Orange Park, Fla. She was just one shot off the individual pace. Her performance helped lead the Stags to third place on the team leaderboard.
The freshman from Ardmore, Pa. has been named MAAC Rookie of the Week following both of Fairfield's tournaments this spring. She previously garnered the honor after placing sixth at the Battle at the Beach.
Fairfield Women's Golf returns to action on March 29-30 for the Women's Intercollegiate at Prospect Bay Country Club in Grasonville, Md.
