EDISON, N.J. – Fairfield University Women's Golf standout
Addie Chang has been named the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Rookie of the Year. Chang completed her first campaign as a Stag with a top-10 finish at last week's MAAC Championship.
Fairfield's first-ever MAAC Women's Golf Rookie of the Year, Chang placed eighth of 60 golfers at the MAAC Championship, one of four Stags in the top 10 to lead Fairfield to a second-place team finish. It was the fourth top-10 performance of the spring for Chang, highlighted by medalist honors at the Fairfield Tri-Match and a second-place outing in a 42-golfer field at the Sacred Heart Spring Break Invite.
Chang was previously recognized as a four-time MAAC Rookie of the Week – earning the award following four of Fairfield's five spring tournaments – and a two-time MAAC Golfer of the Week.
