GREENWOOD, Ind. – Four standouts from Fairfield University Men's Lacrosse have been named College Sports Communicators (CSC; formerly CoSIDA) Academic All-District. The Stags were represented by
Owen Hirsch,
Matt Rice,
Rory Thompson and
Luke Okupski; Okupski will advance to the final ballot for Academic All-America consideration.
To be eligible for Academic All-District, a student-athlete must hold a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50 as a starter or significant contributor on the field. Hirsch, Rice and Thompson are all members of the Fairfield Class of 2025 while Okupski finished his undergraduate studies in 2024 and completed his Master of Business Administration (MBA) in 2025.

Fairfield Men's Lacrosse finished the 2025 season with a record of 12-3, tying the program single-season record for wins. The Stags went 8-0 on Conway Field at Rafferty Stadium – the first unbeaten home mark in a full season in program history – and spent 10 weeks in the national rankings.
