First CAA Road Swing Sends Stags to Drexel, Saturday at Noon

Fairfield meets the Dragons in a rematch for the 2025 CAA Semis

OPENING FACEOFF
Fairfield Men's Lacrosse hits the road for the first time in CAA play for a Saturday, March 21 visit to Drexel. Opening faceoff from Vidas Field in Philadelphia is slated for noon.

LAST TIME OUT
A 12-goal outburst in the second quarter led Fairfield past visiting Hampton, 26-7, in the Stags' CAA opener on Saturday at Rafferty Stadium.  Sixteen Stags contributed a point in the victory, led by a six-point day for Will Consoli and a career-high four goals from Justin Brown.

Brown led all scorers with four goals and dished out an assist for a five-point afternoon. Devin Lampron netted a hat trick with two assists, while Rob Moore turned in a hatty of his own along with one helper. In addition to four assists, Consoli was one of four Stags to score a pair of goals. Jackson Newell had two goals with two assists, while Kevin Dolan and Jeremiah Wade each scored twice.

The Stags stayed on the attack courtesy of a 29-for-37 day at the faceoff X. Six players contributed to that showing, led by Daniel Davis with a 10-for-14 day and six ground balls. Mark Durling was a perfect 7-for-7 with five grounders, and Jonathan Lewis went 6-for-8 with three ground balls.

NO POLE, NO PROBLEM
Entering this week, Andrew Kasten is one of six players to play with a short stick to have recorded at least 10 caused turnovers. Kasten ranks second on the Stags in caused turnovers behind standout defenseman Julian Radossich (21 CTs).
