EDISON, N.J. – Julia Rabadam and
Katelynn Waclawski from Fairfield University Women's Golf have been named to the All-Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Second Team, as announced this morning by the league.
This season marks the first time that All-MAAC honors were voted upon as a season-long award. Previously, All-MAAC honorees were denoted solely as the top finishers at the MAAC Championship. The league's major awards – Player of the Year, Rookie of the Year and Coach of the Year – will be determined at the conclusion of this weekend's Championship.
Rabadam led Fairfield this season with an average round of 80 (+8.3 to par) while playing in all nine tournaments to date. She was the Stags' top finisher at three events, including a sixth-place finish at the SHU Spring Break Invite. Rabadam also cracked the top-10 at the Intercollegiate at Prospect Bay, wrapping up the 54-hole tournament in eighth place.
Waclawski was just behind Rabadam with an 80.25 scoring average (+8.5 to par). She was the individual medalist at the Lehigh Invitational in October, highlighting three events in which she was Fairfield's top finisher. Waclawski also finished sixth at the SHU Fall Invitational and ninth at the SHU Spring Break Invite.
Rabadam (Marketing) and Waclawski (Marketing) were also two of Fairfield's four MAAC All-Academic honorees alongside
Lucy Fowler (Finance) and
Juliette Prud'Homme (Communication). The quartet represents every Fairfield women's golfer who was eligible for the honor.
The 2025 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Championship tees off from Disney's Magnolia Golf Course on Thursday, April 17 with the first of three rounds in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. The winning team and top individual finisher after 54 holes will earn the MAAC's automatic berths to the NCAA postseason.
