LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla.-The Fairfield University women's team golf team wrapped up play at the 2025 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference on Saturday with their best team score of the three-round event, as the Stags went +19 after shooting +33 in round two on Friday and + 21 over the opening 18 holes on Thursday. As a team, Fairfield finished in sixth place in the eight team, 56-hole event with a team total of +73.
Quinnipiac won the team event at +19 as a squad, 13 strokes in front of second place UAlbany.
The Stags finished seven shots in front of seventh place Mount Saint Mary's and 17 shots behind fifth place Sienna.
Individually, Julia Rabadam led three Fairfield players tightly bunched on the final leaderboard, as she carded a team-low +1 over the final 18 holes of play to finish the MAAC Championship at +17 in 23rd place.
Grace Windfelder finished place in 24th place, one shot behind Rabadam, at +18 for the 56 holes.
Juliette Prud'Homme rounded out the top three Fairfield finishers over the weekend at +21 after firing a fine score of +4 over the final 18 holes. Prud'Homme slotted into 25th place on the final leaderboard.
Sofia Nogalo at +26 and Katelynn Waclawski at +29 rounded out the Stags competing in the 2025 MAAC Women's Golf Championship Tournament which was held on the Magnolia Course at the Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista. Florida
Quinnipiac's Sophia Fujita, who led after all three rounds of the championship, won the 2025 MAAC Individual Women's Golf crown finishing at +1 for 56 holes. Fujita topped teammate Fuge Zhang and Merrimack's June Doerr by four strokes.
