Fairfield Sits Sixth After Round 2 at MAAC Championship

Rabadam and Prud’Homme lead the day, each carding a 79

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. – Julia Rabadam and Juliette Prud'Homme each carded a second-round 79 to lead Fairfield University Women's Golf on Friday at the 2025 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Championship. As a team, the Stags sit in sixth place with 18 holes left to play at Disney's Magnolia Golf Course.
 
Prudhomme's 79 was a three-stroke improvement on her second trip through the course, while Rabadam cut two shots off her score in Round 2.
 
Overall, the Stags are paced by Grace Windfelder with a two-round 154 to share 19th place on the individual leaderboard. Sofia Nogalo is right behind her in 23rd place with a 157, followed by Rabadam's 160, a 161 for Prud'Homme and a 167 by Katelynn Waclawski.
 
On the team ledger, the Stags' sixth place slot puts them one stroke ahead of seventh-place Mount St. Mary's and 11 shots shy of fifth-place Merrimack. Quinnipiac tops the leaderboard by eight strokes entering Saturday's final round. The Bobcats are led by Sophia Fujita, the only golfer under par through 36 holes with a 142 (-2) to lead the field by five shots.
