Box Score 3 VESTAL, N.Y. – Fairfield University Women's Tennis saw several players go unbeaten on the weekend, leading a successful team trip to Vestal, N.Y. for the NateRentals.com Hidden Duals. The Stags went head-to-head with students from Army West Point, LIU, St. Bonaventure and host Binghamton.
"I couldn't have asked for a better final weekend of the fall season for both teams [women's and men's]. They competed hard all weekend. They did a great job of bringing energy for each other all weekend," said Head Coach
Jeff Bricker. "It was a great conclusion to the fall, and I think both teams are going to be ready to go from match one in January."
Fairfield posted 11 wins in singles action, led by a trio of undefeated efforts.
Lily Malinowski,
Anna Neyestani, and
Dylin Pizzutello were all 2-0 in singles, with
Sophia Harris added a 2-1 tally.
Maria Gell chipped in a win in her only singles match of the weekend, and the Stags picked up victories courtesy of
Maeve Cassidy and
Regina Herrera.
On the doubles courts, Malinowski headed the effort at 3-0. She picked up one with alongside Neyestani and went 2-0 teaming with
Nicolette Loeffler, who made her season debut this weekend. Neystani was also unbeaten in doubles, adding a win alongside
Meg Harding.
Harding also paired with Cassidy to add a victory in their lone match as a tandem. Harris and
Sarah Liu added a victory to round out the Stags' seven doubles wins.
The weekend marked the close of the fall portion of the 2025-26 campaign. The spring schedule for Fairfield Tennis will be announced when it is finalized.
