FAIRFIELD, Conn. – For the first time in program history, the Fairfield University Women's Soccer team will take on the Merrimack Warriors as they host one of the newest members of the MAAC. The Stags will bring a 5-0-1 conference record into the match and their 16 points ranks second in the league. Their 10-1-1 overall record is the eighth-highest in the country.
The Stags bring statistically the best offense in the MAAC, leading the league with 35 goals, 28 assists, and 98 total points. The 35 goals scored ranks the sixth most in the nation. Fairfield also places in the top-10 in Division I – and leads the MAAC – with 20.8 shots and 9.4 shots on goal per game.

Maddy Theriault is coming off her second MAAC Offensive Player of the Week honor after netting two goals and an assist in Fairfield's 2-0 week. She became just the 11th Stag all-time to reach 25 career goals. For this season, Theriault is second in the MAAC with seven goals which is also near the top-50 in the country.

Lindsay Dewar is coming off her first shutout as a Stag, stopping the only shot on target that Fairfield allowed against Manhattan.
Merrimack brings a 3-2-1 conference record into the contest, placing in the top-four in the MAAC. Isabella Keogh is the team leader with three goals and seven points
