FAIRFIELD, Conn. – The Fairfield University Women's Soccer team will travel Cambridge, Mass., to face the Harvard Crimson for a Thursday afternoon contest with kickoff at 4pm. Fairfield is coming off an unbeaten home weekend with a win over Boston University and a scoreless draw against Rutgers. Through the first four matches of the season, the Stags rank second in the Metro with eight total goals and third with 22 total points.
 
Three different Stags scored a goal in their 5-2 win over Boston University on Thursday, with five student-athletes picking up a point.
 
Freshman Bella Bingham netted the first score for the Stags while also assisting on a goal late in the second half. For her efforts, she was named the Metro Rookie of the Week, the first Stag to receive a weekly award this season and the 11th different rookie to net the weekly accolade under Head Coach David Barrett.
 
Sophomore Payton Zaun rocketed in two goals, including the game-winner. For her play, she was named an Honorable Mention for the Top Drawer Soccer Team of the Week.
 
Ella Pisani also netted a pair of goals in the victory over the Terriers which brought her season total to four goals in the first three matches. She became the first player in program history to score four times during the first three matches of a season. She currently leads the Metro and ranks in the top-25 in the nation in points (eight) and goals per game (1.0).
 
Harvard brings an 0-2 record into the match after losses to Stony Brook and UMass. Olof Kristinsdottir is the team leader with two goals.
 
The Stags will close out their road trip and non-conference slate with a matchup against FDU next Wednesday at 6pm.
