EDISON, N.J. – Fairfield University Women's Tennis was ranked second in the MAAC Preseason Poll, as voted upon by the conference's seven head coaches. The Stags reached the MAAC Championship Match as the league's second seed last spring and welcome four starters from that match back into the fold as part of the 2023-24 roster.
 
The Stags were the unanimous choice for second place on the ledger with 42 points, trailing only the 49 points collected by unanimous favorite and reigning MAAC Champion Quinnipiac.
 
Completing the preseason ledger are Siena, Mount St. Mary's, Niagara, Marist and Rider.
 
Fairfield Women's Tennis begins the spring campaign on Jan. 26 at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center against host St. John's. The entire MAAC portion of the regular season will be played in just 22 days, with the Stags challenging all six conference foes during that span.
 
The 2024 MAAC Championship is set for April 20-21 in West Windsor, N.J.
