EDISON, N.J. – Fairfield University Men's Tennis has been ranked atop the MAAC Preseason Poll, as voted upon by the conference's seven head coaches. The Stags earned a share of the MAAC Regular Season Championship and reached the MAAC Championship Match last spring, returning five starters from the final match to this season's squad.
Â
Fairfield garnered five first-place votes in the poll for 46 points. The Stags narrowly edged Quinnipiac, while collected 43 points including the two remaining first-place tallies. Marist and Niagara claimed the next two spots followed by defending MAAC Champion Siena, which slipped to fifth place after seeing all but one player to compete in last year's final depart the roster via graduation or the transfer portal.

Rider and Mount St. Mary's round out the preseason ledger.
