EDISON, N.J. – For the second week in a row Fairfield University men's tennis senior Jonathan Olive-Blanco has nabbed Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Player of the Week honors.
In two matches against Niagara and Marist, Jonathan Olive-Blanco notched a total of four victories as he swept the week for himself all in top-flight contests. He opened against Niagara with a 6-4 victory at No. 1 doubles and followed that with a three-set victory at No. 1 singles. Tuesday against Marist he would nab a 6-3, doubles win alongside a straight set 6-0, 7-5 win in the singles' top-flight to remain undefeated in conference singles duels.
Olive-Blanco and Fairfield men's tennis are back in action tomorrow afternoon as they head to Quinnipiac to close the regular season as they look to clinch a spot in the MAAC Tournament next weekend.
