EDISON, N.J. – Calum Jessett has been named the MAAC Player of the Week coming off an unbeaten week with Fairfield University Men's Tennis. Jessett went 2-0 in singles action and 2-0 on the doubles courts in matches against Fordham and Rider.
 
In last Friday's non-conference finale at Fordham, Jessett earned a 6-1, 6-4 win at #3 singles and teamed with Alex Aguiar for a 6-2 victory at #1 doubles.
 
Jessett was also instrumental in the Stags' home victory over Rider to open the MAAC slate. He picked up another straight set singles win, this time at the #4 spot, and again paired with Aguiar for a win at #2 doubles to help Fairfield clinch the doubles point.
 
Fairfield Men's Tennis continues MAAC play on campus at the Walsh Athletic Center Outdoor Courts this Friday for a visit from Siena.
