BRONX, N.Y. – Fairfield University Men's Cross Country concluded the fall 2023 campaign on Friday at the NCAA Division I Northeast Region Championship at Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx. Jack Putnam led the Stags in their first and only 10K of the season with a personal-best time of 34:06.6.
Putnam was followed just under 30 seconds later by Olli Muniz at 34:36.1. The ensuing pack featured Alex Petersen (34:48.4), Colin Shand (34:59.3), Ryan Lindley (35:04.6) and Chase Orciuch (35:04.9) and Kenny Power (35:19.7) is a span of less than 32 seconds. Lindley's time was a PR for the sophomore in the 10K.
MAAC powerhouse Iona won the regional title, paced by two of the top three individual finishers. Second-place Harvard was led by the individual champion, Graham Blanks, with a winning time of 29:31.6.
