HOPKINTON, N.H. – Fairfield University Men's Cross Country closed out the 2025 season on Friday at the NCAA Northeast Region Championship. The Stags were paced by
Ryan Lindley, who completed the 10K course in 31:43.2.
Following Lindley around the course at the Hopkinton Fairgrounds was
Kyle Haskell at 32:05.5 in his NCAA postseason debut.
George Hohenleitner clocked in at 32:27.0, and rookies
Colston Wisotzki (32:48.2) and
Harrison Caprara (33:10.4) rounded out the scoring quintet for the Stags.
Chase Orciuch (33:26.1) and
Colin Shand (33:47.0) also competed for the Stags on Friday.
On the team ledger, the Stags placed 33rd of 38 teams. Fairfield finished ahead of a crop that included St. Bonaventure and a quartet of MAAC teams: Merrimack, Quinnipiac, Sacred Heart, and Niagara.
Syracuse won the regional handily with all five of its scorers finishing among the top nine. MAAC Champion Iona placed second, and Harvard rounded out the top three.
Hofstra rookie Fredrick Kipkosegei won the regional with a time of 29:12.7, nearly five seconds ahead of Syracuse harrier Peter Walsdorf.
