FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Head Coach
Jake Jayworth has announced that
Andrea Condie will join Fairfield University Men's and Women's Cross Country as an Assistant Coach. Condie currently serves as Team Captain for the New Haven Road Runners following a standout career at the University of Idaho.
"We're very excited to have Andrea as a part of Fairfield Cross Country," said Jayworth. "Her knowledge and her passion for our sport, as well as her experience as a high-level student-athlete, will be tremendous assets as we continue to build both our men's and women's programs here at Fairfield."
As Team Captain with the New Haven Road Runners, Condie is responsible for cultivating a positive and competitive team environment for post-collegiate and adult runners while overseeing scheduling, race day logistics, and recruiting. She also manages race strategy and competitive preparation for the Road Runners.
As a student-athlete, Condie excelled in cross country and track and field at Idaho. She was a two-time NCAA West First Round National Qualifier in track and ranks fourth all-time at Idaho in both the 5K and 10K. Condie was a two-time Big Sky Conference Cross Country Athlete of the Week.
Condie graduated from Idaho in 2019 with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering.
