HANOVER, N.H. – Following a pair of invitational tournaments to open the 2022-23 campaign, Fairfield University women's tennis will return to play this Friday-Sunday, Sept. 30-Oct. 2 for the International Tennis Association (ITA) Regionals hosted by Dartmouth University. Head Coach Jeff Bricker will see five Stags enter this weekend's competition in the Granite State, which includes four singles players, a pair of doubles tandems, and two alternate players.
At 4-4 on the year, graduate transfer Lize-Alet Morkel will lead the quartet of Stags' singles players into action this weekend, along with Katarina Plumtree, Sarah Liu, and Scarlett Hutchinson making up the rest of that group. Plumtree and Hutchinson will team-up as one of two doubles teams competing for Fairfield this weekend, as Morkel will join Francesca Karman as the other double's partnership. Laina Campos will also join the team in New Hampshire as the alternate player for the tournament.
Fairfield women's tennis is back in action at the end of October from the 21st-24th at the ITA Super Regional Championships hosted by Yale University.
