Douglas Nabs Top-15 Finish at Prospect Bay Golf Course

GRASONVILLE, Md. -  The field completed three rounds at the JEL Golf Prospect Bay Intercollegiate Tournament this weekend, and each time Addy Douglas improved on her score from the round prior, carding a 77 Sunday to finish tied for 14th amongst the 83-player field.

Douglas helped the Stags to a ninth place finish for the weekend, as she moved up one spot on the leaderboard from 15th after two rounds, improving four strokes from her opening round card to her final 18 Sunday. Joining Douglas amongst the leaders was Sydney Nethercott who finished tied for 22nd in the field, the second consecutive week that the pair have placed in the top-25.

On Saturday, Riley Sullivan improved her opening score by six strokes in the second round of the day, helping her earn a share of 48th place. Alexa Brown finished the weekend tied for 59th, and Grace Kryscio finished two shots behind her in a tie for 63rd.

Fairfield women's golf is back in action next weekend, Apr. 10-12 when they return to the Nutmeg State for the SHU Invitational in Milford.
