SETTING THE TABLE
Fairfield University women's golf is back in action in the early part of the week (Apr. 11-12) returning to the Nutmeg State for the Sacred Heart Spring Invitational.
LAST TIME OUT
The field completed three rounds at the JEL Golf Prospect Bay Intercollegiate Tournament last weekend, and each time Addy Douglas improved on her score from the round prior, carding a 77 Sunday to finish tied for 14th amongst the 83-player field.
Douglas helped the Stags to a ninth-place finish for the weekend, as she moved up one spot on the leaderboard from 15th after two rounds, improving four strokes from her opening round card to her final 18 Sunday. Joining Douglas amongst the leaders was Sydney Nethercott who finished tied for 22nd in the field, the second consecutive week that the pair have placed in the top-25.
SACRED HEART SPRING INVITATIONAL (APR. 11-12)
Held at the Great River Golf Club in Milford, the Sacred Heart Spring Invitational will be held Monday and Tuesday, just a short trip from campus for the squad. The 18-hole course will play host to the Stags and four other schools competing in the field including: Hartford, Holy Cross, Quinnipiac, and the host Pioneers. Making up the Fairfield five for the tournament are Addy Douglas, Sydney Nethercott, Riley Sullivan, Alexa Brown, Grace Kryscio. A pair of Stags will compete as individuals in Lucy Fowler and Annika Johnson.

Fairfield women's golf is back in action later in the week (Fri.-Sat.) competing in the Hartford Hawks Invitational at Gillette Ridge Golf Club in Bloomfield.
