BRONX, N.Y. – Senior Robert Dillon paced the Stags runners once again, as he finished the ECAC Meet Friday with a time of 26:33.8 to lead Fairfield University men's cross country in their third competition of the season.
Dillon was 162nd in the field of 358 that included runners from seven other MAAC schools and 31 teams overall. Finishing second for the Stags was Jacob Bornstein who crossed the line with a time of 27:24.2 in the 8k event, coming in 248th while overall the Fairfield top-seven placed 29th.
Alex Petersen was the third Stag to finish the meet, coming in with a time of 27:58.9 and Jack Putnam with a time of 28:29.3 to round out the top five for Fairfield.
Men's cross country return to action next Friday Oct. 21 for the final regular season meet of the campaign when they head to New Britain, Conn. for the CCSU Mini Meet hosted by Central Connecticut State.
