Meet the Fairfield Lacrosse Class of 2025

FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Seventeen Stags have joined the campus community this month as member of the Fairfield University Men's Lacrosse Class of 2025. The group represents the states of Connecticut, Florida, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Virginia and the province of British Columbia.
 
"Our Class of 2025 is filled with dedicated, hard-working young men who will strengthen Fairfield Men's Lacrosse competitively and culturally," said Head Coach Andrew Baxter. "Our coaching staff has enjoyed getting to know them and their families, and we are excited to have them on campus as we begin preparation for the 2022 spring season."
 
Chris Adornato
Midfield
New Hartford, N.Y.
 
Chris Adornato played in the midfield at Christian Brothers Academy in Syracuse. During his tenure, CBA won the 2018 Section 3 Class D Championship and followed with back-to-back seasons as the Class C runner-up. Adornato was an All-State Second Team honoree as a senior in 2021.
 
In the classroom, Adornato is a National Honor Society student and graduated with High Honors from CBA. He intends to study Biology at Fairfield.
 
Zack Antoniou
Defense
Tampa, Fla.
 
Zack Antoniou was a two-time All-America defenseman at Plant High School; he was tabbed as an Under Armour Underclass All-American as a junior and a U.S. Lacrosse All-American as a senior. Antoniou was also a 2021 All-State honoree as well as a three-time All-County and two-time All-Region selection.
 
Academically, Antoniou will join the Dolan School of Business as Fairfield.
 
Nick Bloom
Faceoff
Dedham, Mass.
 
Nick Bloom was a four-year contributor at the X for Xaverian Brothers High School. He served as team captain for the Hawks as a senior.
 
Joseph Costantino
Midfield
West Islip, N.Y.
 
Named one of the top 100 players on Long Island by Newsday, Joseph Costantino scored 27 goals with seven assists in his senior season at West Islip. He earned All-County and All-Long Island laurels and also claimed All-Division and All-Long Island recognition as a football player.
 
A member of the National Honor Society, Costantino will study Accounting at the Dolan School of Business.
 
Christopher DeBellis
Defense
Wyckoff, N.J.
 
Christopher DeBellis was a defenseman and LSM at Ramapo High School. He was a First Team All-State, All-North Jersey and All-Bergen County performer, as well as a U.S. Lacrosse Academic All-American.
 
DeBellis was a High Honors student at Ramapo and will join the Dolan School of Business at Fairfield.
 
Josh Demko
Midfield
Carthage, N.Y.
 
Josh Demko patrolled the midfield and was an All-North defensive back for a Section 3 Champion and state runner-up football team at Carthage High School. He earned 7 News Athlete of the Week laurels in both sports during his career.
 
In the classroom, Demko was a High Honor Roll student throughout his time at Carthage.
 
Owen Hirsch
Goalkeeper
Lititz, Pa.
 
Owen Hirsch was an All-Liberty League performer in the cage at Manheim Township High School. He was a member of the 2018 state championship team and a three-year starter for the Blue Streak, serving as team captain as a senior.
 
Hirsch is an Honor Roll student and plans to study Finance in the Dolan School of Business.
 
Dylan Johannes
Attack
Victoria, British Columbia
 
Johannes played four seasons on attack at Royal Bay Secondary School in Victoria, where he was a two-time recipient of the sportsmanship award.
 
An Honor Roll student, Johannes will major in English at Fairfield.
 
James Kapralos
Defense
Westbury, N.Y.
 
James Kapralos was a four-year starter on defense at Carle Place High School, serving as team captain as a senior. He was named an All-Star at the Maverik Showtime Showcase and also named Defensive MVP as a football player.
 
Kapralos will study in the Dolan School of Business.
 
Tim Lucky
Faceoff/Midfield
Elkton, Md.
 
Tim Lucky was the 2021 Delaware Boys' Lacrosse Player of the Year, scoring 35 goals with 36 assists as a senior at the Sanford School and posting a .790 win percentage at the faceoff X. Lucky also earned U.S. Lacrosse All-American laurels and was selected to the Under Armour All-America Baltimore Highlight Team. In his career he was a two-time First Team All-State and three-time First Team All-Conference honoree, finishing with over 100 goals and 100 assists.
 
Lucky will join the Dolan School of Business this fall.
 
P.J. McGoldrick
Defense
West Islip, N.Y.
 
P.J. McGoldrick was named Defensive MVP as a senior at West Islip, also earning All-County and All-Division accolades. He plans to study in the Dolan School of Business at Fairfield.
 
Jack McKenna
Attack
Fairfield, Conn.
 
A local product from Fairfield Warde High School, Jack McKenna was an attackman for the Mustangs as well as a tight end on the football team. He will enter the Dolan School of the Business this fall.
 
Aidan McLane
Attack
Westfield, N.J.
 
Aidan McLane was a U.S. Lacrosse All-American following a standout senior season at Westfield High School. He also earned First Team All-State, All-County and All-Division honors as well as Team MVP after netting the fifth-most goals in a season in team history.
 
An Honor Roll student, McLane will study in the Dolan School of Business.
 
Caleb McNaull
Defense
Vienna, Va.
 
Caleb McNaull was a First Team All-American in the junior college ranks at the Community College of Baltimore County (Essex) last spring. He was also tabbed as the Maryland JUCO Defensive Player of the Year, First Team All-Maryland and First Team All-Region. McNaull previously played scholastically at St. Paul VI Catholic High School, captaining his team to a spot in the Division I state championship game in 2019.
 
A National Merit Scholar and a Bellarmine Scholar, he will join the Dolan School of Business as a Finance major.
 
Rob Moore
Midfield
East Moriches, N.Y.
 
Rob Moore scored 25 goals with 22 assists as a senior at Westhampton Beach High School, where he earned All-County and All-Division accolades. He was a two-year captain in the midfield for the Hurricanes.
 
Moore plans to study in the Dolan School of Business at Fairfield.
 
Matt Rice
Midfield
Catonsville, Md.
 
Matt Rice played in the midfield at Loyola Blakefield, reaching the MIAA semifinals during his career. He also represented Maryland in the 2020 Nike All-Star Game. In addition to three years as a starter on the lacrosse field, Rice played varsity basketball at Loyola Blakefield.
 
Academically, he was a four-year honor roll student and will join the Dolan School of Business.
 
Rory Thompson
Defense
Binghamton, N.Y.
 
A U.S. Lacrosse All-American and Under Armour Underclass All-American as an LSM, Rory Thompson helped lead Chenango Valley to a Section 4 Championship in 2021. In his career, he collected 187 ground balls with 61 caused turnovers and contributed to the attack with 19 goals and 15 assists. Thompson was a three-time First Team All-Division selection and also lettered in football and basketball.
 
Academically, Thompson is a National Honor Society member and High Honor Roll student. He plans to study in the Dolan School of Business.
