Stags Conclude Fall at NCAA Northeast Regional Championship

BOSTON – Fairfield University Men's Cross Country concluded the 2021 fall season on Friday at the NCAA Northeast Regional Championship. Alexandre' McMillian was the first Stag to finish the 10K course at Franklin Park in Boston.
 
McMillian clocked in at 34:56, followed 10 seconds later by fellow freshman Jacob Bornstein in 35:06. Bryce Zapusek completed the course in 36:31, Devin Flores turned in a time of 37:05 and Thomas VanDerslice was the fifth scoring Stag with a mark of 37:51.
 
Syracuse University won the regional fueled by three of the top eight finishers. All five scorers for the Orange were among the top 21 in the 245-runner field. Iona's Ehab El-Sandali was the individual champion with a winning time of 30:03.
