NEW BRITAIN, Conn. – Three members of Fairfield University Men's Cross Country made the short trip up to Stanley Quarter Park in New Britain on Friday for the CCSU Mini-Meet. The meet was the Stags' final tune-up for next weekend's MAAC Championship Meet.
 
Alexandre' McMillian led the Stags trio in the 5K race with a time of 16:02.1. Jacob Bornstein finished the course in 16:37.7 and Thomas VanDerslice completed the meet in 17:45.2.
 
With only three harriers on the course today, the Stags did not factor into the team scoring. Yale won the meet led by three runners in the top eight. Abdel Laadjel of Providence set the pace with a time of 14:41.1.
 
The 2021 MAAC Championship will be held at Disney's Wide World of Sports in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. next Saturday, Oct. 30.
