GRAND LAKE, Colo. – Megan Beach will represent Fairfield University Women's Lacrosse as one of 44 student-athletes selected to play in the IWLCA Division I Senior All-Star Game this Saturday, June 1. Beach will be a part of the North All-Stars who will take the field at US Lacrosse Headquarters in Sparks, Md. At 1 p.m. The game will be streamed live on IWLCA-tv.com.
The 2019 MAAC Defender of the Year, Beach was also named to the All-MAAC First Team and All-ECAC Second Team for the second consecutive season this spring. The Stags' co-captain also collected MAAC All-Championship honors for the second straight campaign after wrapping up her Fairfield career with back-to-back MAAC Championships.
Beach will be on a roster alongside teammates representing nine different conferences including the ACC, Big Ten, Pac-12 and CAA along with fellow MAAC student-athletes Jenny Staines (Monmouth), Rachel MacCheyne (Niagara) and Hailey Wagner (Marist). The team will be led by UMBC Head Coach Amy Slade.
